Some volunteers leave footprints that are impossible to miss, and Shiva Kiani is certainly one of them.

Since joining West Valley Food Pantry in 2024, Shiva has generously shared her time, compassion, and dedication with our clients, volunteers, and staff. Whether welcoming clients with a warm smile, lending a hand in Margaret's Room, or stepping in wherever help was needed, she became a steady and caring presence that made our Pantry a better place.

This summer, Shiva begins an exciting new chapter as she heads to dental school. While we will miss seeing her around the Pantry, we couldn't be more excited for her future. We know she will bring the same kindness, patience, and compassion to her patients that she has shown every person she met here.

Volunteers like Shiva remind us that the impact of service extends far beyond the hours they give. Their generosity creates lasting connections and strengthens our community in countless ways.
